Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse to Serve as Polling Location for 2024 General Election on Tuesday, November 5

Cuyahoga County Residents Can Register to Vote on National Voter Registration Day, Tuesday, September 17

CLEVELAND, OH - The City of Cleveland, Cuyahoga County, and the Board of Elections, in partnership with the Cleveland Cavaliers, today announce that Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse will serve as a polling location for the 2024 General Election on Tuesday, November 5. Registered voters residing in precincts I, L and Q in Cleveland's Ward 3 will be able to cast their in-person ballots at

the FieldHouse.

In addition, National Voter Registration Day is on Tuesday, September 17. On this day, voters residing anywhere in Cuyahoga County can register to vote at the FieldHouse, regardless of their actual voting precinct locations on Election Day. More details about community activations will be announced soon.

Important Dates:

September 17, 2024: National Voter Registration Day

October 7, 2024: Deadline to Register to Vote

November 5, 2024: Election Day – Polls are open from 6:30 a.m. - 7:30 p.m.

Ohio ID Requirements for Voting in Person:

A new voter ID law went into effect in 2023, requiring photo ID to vote.

Accepted forms of photo ID:

·       Unexpired Ohio driver's license

·       Ohio state ID card

·       US passport or passport card

·       Military identification issued by the Ohio National Guard or US government

·       US Veterans Affairs ID card

·       Interim identification form issued by the Bureau of Motor Vehicles (BMV)
