A Taste of Black Cleveland

All proceeds from A Taste of Black Cleveland will benefit the Cleveland NAACP, The Cavaliers Community Foundation HBCU Scholarship Program, and the participating businesses.

There are two ticket options for A Taste of Black Cleveland: The Food Showcase 6.0 -
 

• Tasting Experience Ticket - $100
  • Access to food tastings from over 20 local businesses including dessert vendors
  • Two drink tickets included
  • Opportunity to vote in the competition
  • Live entertainment - Live Band and DJ
  •  General Admission Early Bird Pricing: $75 until July 5th (price increases to $100 on July 6th)

• VIP Experience Ticket - $200
  • Exclusive access to the VIP area featuring a dedicated bar and food from last year's winner, No Fork Restaurant
  • One (1) ticket to a pre-determined Cleveland Cavaliers game for the 2024-25 NBA Regular Season
  • Admission to the tasting experience with access to food tastings from over 20 local businesses including dessert vendors
  • Opportunity to vote in the competition
  • Live entertainment - Live Band and DJ

The Cleveland Cavaliers, Cleveland NAACP, Black CoLabs, and Aramark are proud to present A Taste of Black Cleveland: The Food Showcase 6.0 on Thursday, August 22 from 6:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse. The tasting portion will take place from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. where guests can sample signature dishes and desserts from 20+ Black-owned establishments. After the tasting, we encourage you to stick around while we tally the votes and announce our A Taste of Black Cleveland 6.0 winners. The bar will remain open, and we’ll keep the fun going with music and entertainment.

The sixth annual A Taste of Black Cleveland welcomes the public to a cultural celebration of Cleveland’s top Black-owned food and dessert businesses. 

The event shines a spotlight on the diverse culture, cuisine, and live entertainment in local Black communities. Chefs will prepare their signature dishes for guests to sample and vote on to award-winning participants a grand prize. New this year, guests will vote on a broader selection of categories.
